Carol Marinelli is a single mother who has also written several dozen romance novels in a relatively short period of time. Some of her fans might be unaware of her roots because she is so closely associated with Australia. She soon found that she could not live. Since then, Carol Marinelli, who was born to Scottish parents, has made a home for herself and her three children in the suburbs of Melbourne, not to mention all their pets.
Before moving to Australia, Carol was a nurse, a career she pursued with relative success. The author continued to pursue the career even after she moved to Australia because it gave her a certain amount of satisfaction. Carol tried her hand at a number of roles before finally getting into the writing business.
Besides nursing, the author experimented with work as a typist and even a fruit-picker, not to mention the time she spent as a backpacker. There was even a period in her life when she thought about going into law enforcement, going so far as to apply to be a policewoman.
It is unclear as to whether Carol was simply adventurous or she truly nurtured an interest in all these fields and more. However, despite the fact that Carol was so fascinated by a variety of possible careers and fields of study, it was writing that always beckoned her.
Writing, on the other hand, was something she began to dabble in when she was eighteen. But then she realized the potential that the publishing industry held and decided to give it her all.
The author had experimented with so many stories, written and discarded entire chapters and outlines. She had started writing projects only to stop out of discouragement and frustration.
So she felt an unimaginable rush when she finally completed her first story, one with a beginning, middle, and end. She even remembers the moment she typed those final words. Carol had indulged in so many different passions before, from Yoga to horse riding.
But none of them gave her the joy of finishing her first book. Of course, as with many aspiring authors, her work was rejected. Carol had her eyes set on Harlequin Mills and Boon. She had even attempted to write for them when she was still in London undergoing her training as a nurse. However, they showed no interest in her work. And they were not the first to discard her efforts.
Carol Marinelli collected an impressive number of rejection letters in the years that followed. And at first, she allowed them to crush her. But, as time went by, Carol decided to finally open and given them a good read, using them as a learning tool with which she was able to improve her craft. And her patience eventually paid off. Medical Romance Line gave Carol Marinelli the chance of a lifetime when it accepted her submission and put her first novel out.
Life began to truly make sense to Carol after that. She was a little disappointed when she learned of and encountered the Romance Writers of Australia. That was one entity that could have helped her immensely if she had known about them during her earlier years. None the less, she took advantage of all they had to offer and has since made great gains as an author with a myriad of novels under her belt. Carol writes about difficult subjects like career confusion and financial debt, not to mention anxiety and depression.
Her novels might fall within the romance category but she makes every effort possible to mentally and emotionally impact her readers by tackling those issues that affect the average individual. Paris might be a beautiful place, but it is doing little to improve the moods of the handsome Russian Billionaire, not when his marriage was merely one of convenience.
Edwards is no better off, what with her struggles with intimacy. This a relatively unique love story, though it plays with most of the same tropes found in the romance genre.
She becomes friends with Ivor who is happy to give her the money she needs. But their contract requires that the two get married, though the marriage is one of convenience. When Ivor dies, his nephew Isaac gives Kate the choice of paying back the money she already received from Ivor or marrying him for a year. The wedding goes forward, with Isaac fully determined to woo and seduce Kate. However, on their honeymoon, he is surprised to find that he is falling for Kate.
He also learns of the burdens weighing her down. This novella is pretty fun and fast paced. Now, Emma is in a difficult position, unsure of how to go about telling Luca that she is pregnant, even as Luca offers her a promotion. Emma plays the role of an innocent virgin whose night of sexual bliss leads to disaster as her seducer proves to be a bit of a jerk.
